Class of 1965 Blog

"Hi Bob, thank you and everyone for the amazing outpouring of love and support for our family at this time of need.

I cannot tell you waht it means to know that friends, from so many years ago, rally to give such support.

Greg's condition is updated as follows:  The illness has progressed into his cranial nerves, which affect his facial movement.  He is still unable to move from his neck down.  The doctors say that he will get worse before he gets better.  We hope this comes on soon.  He will be in the hospital, we are told, for at least 6 more weeks, which will include physical theapy when he is able.  Greg has gone through many levels of emotion, but he has now shown us a determination that has been missing these last few days.

As much as I would like to answer each e-mai, and I will eventually, please pass this update on to everyone for me.  I am overwhelmed by the immediate responses that came in, but what else could be expected--WE are the BEST alive, WE are the Class of 65!!!!!!!

Thank you, again, for your continued prayers.  We know that is the best medicine available.

With love, Peggy Cosper Gilley
