Class of 1965 Blog

Wow, I did not know you were going to publish this on the blog, I would have embellished it a little bit more like the fact that my Dad drove 120 miles round trip to AEDC near Tullahoma to work and still went full time to school where he earned a degree in Theology and my Mom worked the third shift at Erlanger Pediatrics cause we only had one car.  She was always at home when we got home from school and Dad was always there at night while she worked.  However, that is the reason I walked every where I went, to school and to work.  One good thing, I had a great pair of legs due to all that walking!  LOL.

I did homework at the drug store during slow times and what I didn't finish there I did after I got home.  I don't remember that as being hard on me but I did cut corners a lot of the time.  I remember getting an A- on a book report I did on Queen Victoria.  The thing is I didn't have time to read the book, but I did read the cover, front and back, and wrote a whole page.  I had a pretty good imagination and I guess it sounded good enough.  I still have the paper.
