Class of 1965 Blog

Some of you are aware that I've had serious knee problems for several years--too much basketball and stressing them more during 25 years of active military service.  The time has come to deal with this--I'll have the first surgery to replace my right knee next Monday.  Surgery to replace the left one is scheduled tentatively for this coming January.

I'll undergo the surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center--I elected to have it done there because the Army Surgeon has a vast amount of experience operating on combat-wounded soldiers and prefers to use the prothesis I wanted.

So, please pray for the success of my surgery and rehabilitation.

Thanks, Bob
