Class of 1965 Blog

I just received this message in a newsletter from the Chattanooga Theatre Centre (so some of you may already know this). Please pray for this wonderful woman, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, etc.
 
Guelda Malone was recently hospitalized. Guelda has been diagnosed with cancer and tells us that she has undergone lots of tests. While there is still treatment to come and a lot for Guelda to endure, yesterday, Guelda returned home from the Hospital. She told me in an email regarding some recent tests to see where the cancer might have spread, that "They were able to do the test the easy way and told Benny that it looked good but they did a biopsy (which is why they went in) - to be sure. I will not know results for a few days - maybe even Mon. but just not having another surgery is a blessing and I am praising our Lord for His answer to our prayers. Again, I must say, I am not afraid and feel at peace with all of this. I know the Lord is with me and His will be done. I also pray that His will is a cure. I have been overwhelmed with so much kindness and covet your prayers. From what I have been told, they are world wide. Please keep up the good work and keep praying. I know that is the answer to all of this. There is a reason, and I pray the Lord leads me to whatever He wants me to do. I love all of you and appreciate all you have done, said, prayed, and given." Our thoughts and prayers are with you Guelda and Benny and with your entire family.
