Hi everyone, I guess I have found new meaning to the phrase "I'm just a wreck".  On June 16th I was traveling back to Texas after a long visit with Brian and family in Alabama.  We had all been over seas to visit with Brent and his family.

I had just passed the sign for Greenville, Texas on I30 when I saw something in the road ahead.  Since there was were two tractor trailers next to me I couldn't get over so I tried to miss it but evidently didn't.  I had my cruise on 65 mph and I slammed on my brakes too hard.  Although a Honda accord is supposed to have anti-lock brakes...I slid right into a wall....then the car flipped a 360...landing back down on the tires.  The horn was blowing...dust and grass were all in the air..including some kind of powder from the air bag.  Four truckers stopped...one said he saw it.  One of them was able to rip the wires from the horn which was blaring.  Long story short...I could have been killed but the hand of the Lord saved me.

I have a crushed L3 vertebrae in my back.  I was pretty shook up.  The hospital had me sent home right away.  I have been blessed so much to have friends to fix meals...drive me places.  Right now I am praying for quick and thorough recovery....would appreciate your prayers.  Hope this finds you and yours well and happy.
