Class of 1965 Blog

Just spoke with Sandra a few minutes ago.  She told me a few weeks back she was coming home when a tire blew.  After trying to change the tire herself she made it home and realized that neither she nor her neighbor could get the tire off to change.  Sandra decided to leave the car at a shop until the next day and when she  returned home and attempted to get in the house she realized that her Mother had locked her out (Sandra takes care of her Mother) and Sandra had left her keys and her cell phone in her car which was now parked at the shop.

As women we think logically that climbing up on some shrubs she could get a window open. Well, unfortunately, Sandra fell and fell on her left arm.  Now she was not only on the ground but could not move.  Calling for help from her Mother was not working so finally had to basically crawl to a neighbors house for help.  They did get her to the hospital where her left arm is broken in several places and she will be out of work now for quite a while.  Please pray for Sandra that she has a speedy recovery.

Although this has been quite an ordeal for Sandra we managed to have a chuckle or two at the thought of Sandra downed beneath a shrub and having to wriggle to a upright position and once up had to crawl to a neighbors house.   Hate to say I still am imaging the horrible situation she was in but then had to apologize for laughing.   When our classmates need us, we cry for them and laugh with them also.  LOL
