Alan Hulgan's wife, Martha, is recovering from surgery to remove her thyroid and a goiter yesterday.

Late on Friday Alan posted:  "Wow..., thank everyone for your prayerful concern!!   It was needed and I have faith that it helped.  There probably are not short days in hospitals.  Almost 3 hour surgical procedure was an hour longer than expected by surgeon, and much much more complicated.  Martha did well during, and post surgery.  May have unexpected voice issues for a little while.  Expect her to be dismissed to Mom and hubby care tomorrow.  Thanks again."

Early this evening, Alan posted:  "How can you help but loving nurses as you watch them care for the most precious persons in your lives......"
