Class of 1965 Blog

On April 8, 2009 at 1:00 p.m., the Marine Commendation Medal for Valor will be presented to Lebron Gatlin at the Marine Reserve Center in Chattanooga.  The medal is in recognition for his heroism in battle October 13, 1966, in Viet Nam.

Lebron said "I am honored to receive this medal.  I will accept it with much pride and honor, not so much for myself, but rather for my Marine Buddies that did not return or the ones that suffered much more than I did.  Semper Fidelis!"
