Class of 1965 Blog

I received the following from LeBron Gatlin about 1:00 p.m. today (11/21/09). A little before 3, he wrote to say he would like the prayer request listed on the blog and that he was at Erlanger Emergency Room. I will update as information is available. "Yesterday (Friday) one of my nurses took me to Logan's Roadhouse to eat. Had a great time getting out for a few hours. Arriving back at home I went to transfer from my drivers seat to my wheelchair. During the transfer my right leg fell between the frame of my chair and the car getting hung. Going to bed last night Rachel & I noticed that my right knee was severely swollen and bruised. I did manage to sleep well. When my nurse arrived this morning to get me up she noticed it. It was still severely swollen. She said I might have broke my leg and to stay in bed until my children (Laura & Rachel) could help me up and to go straight to Erlanger emergency room. Laura just got here. I really dread going to the same hospital where my sweet wife Brenda died less than a month ago. Please continue to hold me in your prayers. Hopefully it will only be a bad sprang. I don't look forward to having a cast on my leg. But as I told the nurse I doubt that a broken leg will keep this ole' salty Marine down. Sgt. Maddog"
