Class of 1965 Blog

Over the past few days Mary Alice shared updates on her ongoing treatment.  Earlier today, I let her know I wanted to put out an update to classmates.  Here is the update she provided:

Oh, geez, I feel like Anne Frank!  Try this:  I'm to finish chemo on 8/12 and following an 'all clear' on scans, MRI, etc. I'm scheduled to have the port removed 9/10.  I was hoping the removal procedure could be done over the phone, but apparently not.  This bout of chemo has been more difficult than the previous but I always keep myself grounded in the knowledge that folks are getting diagnosed every day with conditions for which there is no treatment.....makes chemo look pretty good, huh?
