WHITESIDE, TN:  Billy "Bill" Eugene Dagnan, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 3, 2010.A lifelong resident of Whiteside, Mr. Dagnan was a son of the late Rosmond and Stella Mae Peardon Dagnan. He was a retired Brick Mason with Adams Masonry and a member of Whiteside Church of God.In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Virgil, James Clifford, and Jack Stanley Dagnan. Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Nancy Juanita Raines Dagnan; sons, Michael (Sherry) Dagnan, of Hixson, Ronnie (Mylinda) Dagnan, of Whiteside, and Dale (Tammy) Dagnan, of Jasper; grandchildren, Whitney Rector, Isaiah, Joshua, Emily, Meagan, Brooke, and Rachel Dagnan; brother, Richard Kenneth Dagnan, of Whiteside; sisters, Pauline Moreland, Wilma Miller, and Anita Green, all of Whiteside; several nieces and nephews.A funeral service to celebrate Bills life will be conducted at noon CDT Tuesday, July 6, 2010, in the funeral home chapel with William Gouger officiating.Interment will follow in Hooker Cemetery with Isaiah Dagnan, Joshua Dagnan, James Dagnan, Donnie Moreland, Jimmy Moreland and Jackie Kennedy serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends for visitation from noon until 8 p.m. CDT today at the funeral home.The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga for their care of Bill during his illness.
