I visited with Jim today at Parkridge Hospital where he has been since Sunday.  He was taken there by his girlfriend after he his temperature rose to over 100 degrees.  Since that time, Jim has been undergoing a series of tests, but he also says that he was given 2 units of blood earlier this week.  To begin with though, Jim is diabetic but the present problem is related more to poor circulation (or neuropathy) primarily in the area of his legs and feet.  The doctor came by while I was there, and said that his kidney function is "better" whatever that means. She also said that he is going to be given an arteriogram sometime today, and that a Podiatrist will also come by to see him.  Otherwise, Jim was in good spirits and looking forward to getting better, and going home.  Bobby
